齐白石（1864－1957），湖南湘潭人，二十世纪的中国画大师，主张艺术“妙在似与不似之间”。28_3.html.jpg他专长花
鸟，笔酣墨饱，力健有锋。但画虫则一丝不苟，极为精细。

齐白石是个很谦虚的人，70多岁的时候，对人说自己不会画画。齐白 石不去画水面上的鲟鱼，而画深水中的虾，并在画上题字：“从来画悲翠 者必画鱼，余独画虾，虾不浮，悲翠奈何? ”

齐白石经常注意花、鸟、虫、鱼的特点，揣摩它们的精神。他曾说为万虫写照，为百鸟张神，要自己画出自己的面目。
