How to use A to Z Chinese
Using A to Z Chinese is easy simply sign up to the website by providing a username and valid email address (email containing your password and confirmation of registration will be sent to this address).Once logged on you can browse our substantial library of lessons and chose to view them at your convenience.
Getting Started
1. On the Home page enter a Username and a Valid email Address (Confirmation of your registration and password will be sent to your email address).
2. Once you have received the email containing your username and password you are free to login to the site.
3. Once you have logged in you have access to your own personal control panel from here you have the ability to edit your profile i.e. writing a little about yourself and your interests and choosing an avatar.
Once you are happy with you're profile you can move onto the lessons.
1. By hovering the mouse over the lessons tab a drop down menu appears. The menu displays the 3 levels of lessons available, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. By clicking one of the options the lesson page is accessed
2. Each lesson has a title which gives you an indication of the video content, lesson scripts and Chinese text is available to view.
3. Once you have found a lesson of the desired level you have the following options
- Play the video file within the webpage by using the onscreen navigation buttons.
- Save the video file to your computer and watch using a media player.
- Transfer the Video file to an mp4 player such as a video IPod or a mobile phone.
- Download the video files audio content which can then be transferred to an mp3 player.
In order to be able to view video lessons and have access to the multimedia content on this website then it is important that your Web Browser is using the latest Adobe Flash software version.

At A to Z Chinese we provide a variety of tools which have been designed to help you with your learning and to make your learning experience more enjoyable.
Games
Our simple Chinese character flash games enable you to memorise characters and there meanings whilst having a little fun at the same time. Who says that learning has to be boring.
Dictionary
The dictionary can be used to translate English words of you choice into the Chinese, where we provide not only the Pinyin (Pronunciation in text format) we also provide the Chinese characters and a sound clip of the pronunciation.
Forum
The forum is the place to go when you want to discuss the recent lesson, or just chat with others trying to learn the language.
Once you have registered with the site and you have logged in you can access the forum and browse the topics.
