Lesson Introduction

The Lottery is a relatively new in China, and started in June 1987. The Welfare lottery, also called Fuli Caipiao, is the only national lottery approved by the Chinese central government. The profit from the sale of these lottery tickets is mainly used for social welfare, such as the development of public sports facilities, education and health care for the handicapped. We will what Chinese people think about China’s Welfare lottery in this lesson.
